Booked for dinner with my partner and two friends and we had such a lovely evening. We were served by our waitress Ebony and waiter Dean. They were absolutely fantastic and worked so well together ensuring we did not have to wait for anything. They were very observant and asked if we needed another drink when ours were almost empty. There was not a large wait time on food and we felt that we had enough time between our starters and main to enjoy each other’s company. We had calamari , garlic bread and a fondues for starters. The garlic bread was incredible and the calamari and fonduta certainly did not disappoint. For mains my partner had the sticky pig pizza and we were surprised by the generous sizing of the pizza! The rest of us had pasta and my carbonara was the best I have had. We only got two desserts and shared them because the portions are huge! We had the honeycomb cheese cake and the chocolate brownie Sundae and both were to die for. The service and food were 10/10 . We honestly could not find anything to fault. A huge thankyou to everyone at Zizzi for a lovely evening. We cannot wait to return.

We visit Zizzi’s in Dorchester a lot and have always found it fantastic. I saw some not so good reviews on here so I wanted to give my view having eaten there over 20 times. The rústica pizzas are the best thing on the menu! The garlic bread is also the best you’ll ever eat, especially the chilli one but they are all amazing. Pasta is ok, other dishes are ok, salad was tasty but disappointing for the price. Go have garlic bread any kind and any rústica pizza and you won’t regret it! Service is always fantastic. Yes they are often short staffed but every single staff member is giving their all and doing their best all with a smile on their face and a friendly chat. Sometimes there is a short wait but this just allows you to have a relaxed experience. Great choice of drinks and puddings too. Oh and the pasta crisps are free! #lovezizzidorchester

Very stressed young waiter. He didn’t bring us the usual crisps to nibble. I asked for a jug of water. We were given 1 glass to share. Not 2 glasses and a jug. We did already have wine !! After we had finished our main. He came and took away our plates and did not ask us if we would like to see the dessert menu or even ask if everything was okay with our meal. He just walked off. !! Better service at a roadside cafe . This young waiter let you down Zizzi. Not what we are used to at your restaurant Great food as always though

Poor disinterested service, cramped table in a dingy nook, awful food, drinks on the list not available, no one interested to enquire either or wish us goodnight. UK franchised food at its worst.
