What a find! My son trains at a nearby athletic facility, and I discovered this take out option when we had to get from training to another event. Shawarma is offered as a bowl or wrap, and you get to select your toppings as it is assembled before you. Dolma and desserts (like rice pudding and baklava) have been made ahead and pre packed for grab and go options, but I requested a large container of dolma (stuffed grape leaves), which was packed to order with at least 20 in the container! Two shawarma wraps plus those came to just over $20. What value! Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is fresh and tasty. In the plaza with Red Wing Shoes on Telegraph, south of M 59.
I recently ordered a 5 person party tray from Zara Grill, a restaurant in the Middle East, and I must say it was amazing! The food was made with love, and you could really say in taste. The flavors were courageous and authentic, and the portion sizes were generous. The presentation was also top-notch, with the food nicely arranged on the tray. Overall, I would recommend Zara Grill to anyone looking for delicious local food. The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you. Jason, for such an unforgettable meal!
I've always wanted the middle eastern version of Subway. I don't think I can understate how great this place is as an alternative to waste fast food in the area. Really excellent Shawarma that you can load as you want, excellent hummous, AMAZING baklava (so buttery). And such prices! Maybe the best part? How ridiculously friendly people are. This place is now on our Saturday schedule as going for lunch. It should be on you too.
