Yucatan

We liked the atmosphere very much, it was modern and lively, you don't find too many of those in Engelberg. Food-wise, contrary to what the name suggests; this is not a Mexican restaurants. They do have a couple of fajitas on the menu, but also...burgers, steak and thai curry. What we had was Ok but we were not overly impressed. The staff was great though, and they had good wines probably more of a place you come to for the modern, young atmosphere than for the gastronomy.

Excellent dinning atmosphere, very vibrant with outstanding service. Manu was varied, good selection of starters and main meals, food was all freshly prepared, that said no fish on the mains, however, tuna was an option as a starter. The staff were attentive, friendly and very...efficient, plenty of staff serving the clientele we didn’t have difficulties with service. We stayed at there hotel and will certainly use both the hotel and the restaurant in future.

Have visited many times over the years. Always good! Now refreshed, updated premises. Extended terrace with great relaxed atmosphere. Fabulous sunny afternoon location down town Engelberg. Really tasty easy going food. Warmly recommend the fried panko chicken filet, served burger style, with perfect crunchy pommes...frites. Attentive and friendly staff. Wonderful mix of guests, wide span of ages, styles and nationalities.

You may think something Mexican. Forget it, you won't find anything neither similar or good. Service is friendly, but just one waiter and suddenly disappears, and we lost our bus. There are many other places to try.

Great food offered in Yucatan, with combination of cool atmosphere. Definitely the best restaurant in Engelberg.
