Good food, cold beer, friendly staff and karaoke!. The Emerald has been there for years for her St Patrick's Day Corned beef and coal. I wasn't there in a while when a friend recommended her cream of crab soup. It was good, but could be better with the addition of something sherry. The shrimp salad was very good. Good cold beer and friendly bar staff. The prices were decent and also portions good. Karaoke (Tues) from 9 a.m., make the Emerald a fun place to be on Tuesday night. So you have a nice meal, throw a cold (or two) and sing a few songs with friends old and new. I come back to work my way through the rest of their menu.

Large beer selection. Who knew? It looked like your average diving with 4 beer on tap from outside, but wow! Great choice when you board. Well-known and friendly bar staff. Good food especially at the house cooked evenings. Can't beat it. There are also friendly locals.

Great local bar! You have live music, good service and cheap beer. You can also have a poloack johnnies hotdog with chips for like 5$ on a Friday night....
