the food and the service here were extraordinary! we had vegetarian currys, naan and rice and were excited, there was a sufficient amount of flavor and the food was very clear prepared with carefree. this was particularly important, as we had made bad experiences in an Indian restaurant close by and hoped that a Himalayan restaurant would be better. we were right! the waiter (and I think the owner was one) were extremely friendly, warm and welcoming. this was really my favorite restaurant experience during my time in Germany and was even better than many experiences at home in Canada. we will definitely come back when we get to the next time.

we passed a cold Sunday evening walk. kardamomtee warmed up, as we only took garlic naan. lamb in mango saffron sauce and lamb sauce with lemon flavor were an excellent choice with good meat pieces.Millions and especially mango cream were a delicious conclusion. On the menu were many interesting possibilities that could be tested later! For a somewhat more intimate atmosphere only the lights up tables would be good enough and the overall lighting less. subtle Indian music pieces were played beautifully in the background.

on Sundays most of the things are closed in a few hours, so we had the luck to find this jewel near our hotel (novotel) my gluten sensitivity. I had no effort at all to find something delicious and could even enjoy a suppe. I had the chicken jhalfrezi, which was exactly the right amount for me. my son got the chicken tikka, which was also delicious. the drinks are a bit expensive, but we enjoyed our lunch very much.

eating is exceptional, it is cheap and tastes excellent, as I have it from my trip to Nepal and Tibet in memory. set momos (knödel) costs approx. 11 eur, dal bhat with lamb 15 eur, portions are really big. highly recommended to visit the restaurant and also read a bit about the situation in tibet
