I'll start with praise; nice looking place, good clientele, fast and polite service.The Negatives, and in this economy it matters; place was a bit dusty. Forks are directly placed on a table with no napkin barrier... having worked in the restaurant industry, I know that this is unsanitary. I ate here years ago, with no complaint. Now, because of hard economic times, they are thinning down their sauces, decreasing their portion sizes, and using pathetically small shrimp...YET, you're paying high prices to make up for their hits. Food was not horrible, the chicken was tender, but it was nothing to write home about. Save your money.
This neighborhood Thai restaurant is one of our favorite celebration just 'cause we wanna places. The food is consistently well done, making choosing our meal difficult it 's ALL GOOD. The atmosphere is cozy with warm wood panelling and traditional depictions of people with elephants (lots of elephants). The room is quiet enough to actually enjoy conversations. We went mid week and there was a live guitarist playing softly. To say we left happy is to understate the comfortably filled contentment we felt. If you are anywhere near Huntingdon Valley, you really should go to this lovely little restaurant.
Had a great dinner today. The server was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was very sophisticated and relaxing. I got the coconut soup, drunken noodles with tofu and shrimp as well as the lava cake with scoop of coconut ice cream on top. The flavors were incredible and diverse. They worked together to create some incredible dishes! Will definitely return soon!
