Whiskey In The Jar

We dropped our annual Fat Tuesday celebration in whiskey in a jar. We usually start at the New Doge and enjoy Polish Muslims, but they did not play this year. Instead, we have to enjoy the Kielbasa Kings! What a fun! I was super excited because we couldn't enjoy this celebration since the Pre-Covid! But we're baaaaaaccckkk! As usual we arrived early in the morning. And was one of the first ones there. We threw it off with Polish beer and some shots. One of the guys who played in the band went to my high school and his sister and I know myself so that this was a funny surprise! They had a big tent where the band played. They made both bathrooms female and brought a Porta Potty for the boys. They removed all the furniture, so it was just room. We have our Polka and had a great time! Great start to the day!!

This hidden jewel was the icing on our cake! First visit to Detroit as a Canadian and state side since Covid and boy it was a perfect area for us to choose for our one night stay! Mike our bartender was the best and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and her fiancée who helped us in a jam. (Thank you again for the ride! While it's at home to a large bunch of locals, they certainly have welcomed us very much! Cheers, we're coming back!

Whiskey in Jar is a local diving bar that is a must especially at Paczki Day. Great amount, excellent vibes, next level bands play from the beginning. Make yourself a favor and dive! 5/5?
