West Side Tavern

The place was fairly packed for a Thursday night. We sat outside as they had a nice fire going. The atmosphere was very inviting. It took a while for the waiter to come over and take our drink order. So much time, the we ordered food at the same time as the drinks. We always order drinks ahead of dinner to digest the menu and take in the atmosphere but so much time had passed, we thought best to order drinks and dinner at the same time. We enjoyed the night and the fire but soon realized our drinks were taking way too long. Our waiter was busy working other tables but not so busy to check on our drinks. The waiter passed by and I flagged him down to inquire about our drinks as it had been over 30 minutes. While talking to the waiter, our entrees arrived...ahead of our drinks. Our food was hot and really good... but no drinks. We were told the bar was backed up, but as soon as the excuse left the waiter's lips our drinks showed. Our drinks were taken off the bill, a nice and expected gesture. Hard to recommend a place with subpar service but the food was good.

This is a hidden gem in Colorado. The drink and food menus are creative and memorable. The service is incredible. We were fortunate to dine in their private hut outside with sky lights and a heater. We will back soon worth the drive from Lone Tree!

Wonderful ambiance. Friendly staff. Great food, high prices. I would rate the prices at . Definitely would return for a special occasion.
