Whenever I am asked where to eat well, I always recommend the wesley and I live in the center of cheltenham! the chef cook is great and I have given up looking at the menu and instead I ask the waiting staff to ask cedric to simply cook what he wants and it is always amazing. However, I visited on crutches with a broken ankle a few times and it was only then I noticed how difficult it is when they are challenged mobility - so many steps! I often think that I would prefer a table, maybe even by fire anyway and especially while I will fight. I think they lack a trick, with not tables in the front, as it always looks empty and not necessarily worth keeping. that makes it great for those of us who know better (no need to book) but I think that is a bit mental.
