"What a pity! Just a few minutes walk away from the overcrowded Promenade of Überlingen, huge overwhelming terrace, a nice sailing harbor and lake view. All that sounds perfect. The assets of this place even with an ensuite smoker and bbq place just screams to be good. And then you have a bored cook who rather spends his free time in smoking cigarettes in front of his kitchen instead of reading cook books which would maybe help a bit. A few flowers on the tables and some candlelights would generally enhance the situation and signal the by passer that guests are generally welcome. And then of course the food. The only reason that someone is sitting in this restaurant is the location. I can't imagine that many of these people are willing to come back for a second time. Food is lousy. For what reason the five curries when the curry is always the same but just different meat or fish and Pangasius Fish from the freezer is commonly known as a no go in these days. Ready made food, sauce from the shelf, precooked pasta and ready made salad sauces is not the bait to catch some guests. I hope that the guys who run that place read this and the other reviews which are also not really charming for a restaurant and can enhance their skills. Otherwise it is as I already said: what a waste of a gorgeous place."
