The Weber Grill Seminar is an absolute must! Last Friday we were able to visit the Weber Grill Seminar at the WEKO in Rosenheim and are still totally enthusiastic. The welcome by the team around WEKO-Restaurantleiter Matthias Schüler was very warm and informative. On the roof terrace, with fantastic views, the various weaver grills were ready (coal, smoker, gas and electric) and were almost waiting for us. We had booked the “Ganzjahre Menu” (menu 2), which included vegetable risotto, white fish, chorizo shoots, beef burgers with pommes and smoked Chutney. As snacks or “between” there were also pizza, beef steak, pork ends and smoked sausages as well as tarte Tatin dessert. We couldn't believe what you can do on a grill. Initially, the group of around 20 people was divided into smaller units. Here the ingredients for the upcoming dishes were still cut and the grills were fired by the way. In addition, the pizzas were added, the pommes were cut and the pork fillet and the paddies were prepared for the burgers. All processes were accompanied with helpful tips and explanations from the course guides and therefore, even later, the paring of the cattle steak was not a problem for all. The order of the dishes was already matched to the grills. There were also explanations of temperature, cooking times, etc. I'm sure nobody went home this evening and if he made a mistake. The time frame was also super planned and very short. Drinks were also included. There was always something to do, what to eat or see. Finally, a great thank you to Matthias student and his entire team for this evening. It was excellent and the first dishes were already tried on the local Grill ́s. You can only recommend this seminar. We are looking forward to the winter grease!
