The perfect way! Beautiful Bavarian inn. Accessible with disabled toilet in the basement. In summer with beer garden in front of the house. Beautiful mountainous area for hiking. Sympathetic that the boss Andreas Griebel at his company car makes his love for Wacken Open Air and the football of the Frankfurter Eintracht clear. At the top he also cooks “Andy’s Bavarian rural cuisine” absolutely ground-by-floor. Of course the potato dumplings are made here!! The three-course lunch menu for 13.50 € is certainly always recommended. For us Ü60, this huge portion is unfortunately not to be created. Beers from Bavaria Brauerei and Aschaffenburger Schlappeseppl line Eder Heylands Brauerei always good. I had 0.2 l Thüngersheimer Ravensburg Benediktusberg Riesling Kabinett dry from the Franconian winery Gebr. Geiger jun. for 5,00 €. Very tasty! In addition, genuine bees are offered honey from the region that we – unfortunately as little enjoyed/recovered as the many highly interesting liquor bottles. Total recommendation!
Friendly reception, and it was made possible to put us out of the bright sun under a partially protective umbrella! partly because a sperm has managed to get me on the shirt; back to the important part: the food the asparagus cream soup was too strong in conssitence and the hiding place showed that they were for a little too long the late lions with onions and lettuce that want to eat better is better in the late zle eder in the Simon's wine restaurant in Michelbach, but here in total it is
Very nice staff, good bourgeois cuisine, cozy, great desserts, wild dishes are recommended in autumn. The pizza is really delicious, but ask before visiting. I and my parents like to come to Griebels in Gunzenbach. In the warmer season you sit comfortably in the beer garden.
Food very good, service attentive and friendly. I had delicious beef with snacks and lumps, very tasty.
