Weinladen am Kanal

The wine shop at the canal in Königs Wusterhausen has been there for several years. How often did I pass the business myself or the place in the Nottekanal and admire the beautiful terrace. I always thought if there was an opportunity to try the good drops. The problem was that we were on site by car. At least one of us had to watch. Finally, there was another opportunity: We were invited to a celebration in the wine business. We came from Berlin with the S-Bahn. There are five minutes walk from the train station. Tonight the place was reserved only for our celebration. It was also necessary, so huge it is not. Our company just fits in. The ambience seemed inviting. There were several small wooden tables with candlesticks; on the walls wine racks with the offer. We felt comfortable right away. Of course we tried the wines for the celebration. There were two red and white wines each. We prefer red wine that was as good as we had expected at a vineyard. A small menu is also available. For a larger offer, the existing kitchen is too small. Plates with cold delicacies stood on the tables. There were various flame cakes that, fresh from the oven, were distributed to the guests. The two operators who have operated the premises since the beginning of 2015 have always provided comprehensive information about spices and drank in questions. The first impression invited us to visit the restaurant. A reservation is strongly recommended. Access by public transport.

This is a very typical german restaurant with plenty of german dishes, the food is good, big portions so you will definitely not starve :) but nothing that special. The service was ok the waitress seemed a bit rude at some points and very nice other times during the dinner (probably because she was stressed because she worked alone)But overall it was a nice restaurant

Cosy traditional restaurant, flambcake is a must (very thin pizza). Friendly staff, would recommend
