we had not reserved and were amazed (in the after) that until the last place the large garden was booked out. still we got a table reserved for later. in time, understands. but that was ok. we were 4 people.A beautiful location right at the weinberg, a super beautiful garden with love to plant. very nice and lasy. we all don't like to drink so much and have found other white wines or almost white wines on the map, which was already great. Unfortunately, neither the Grauburgunder nor the blanc de noir convinced us. Okay, maybe just a taste thing like everything in life. the services were obviously helped out, as they had to ask for themselves at each time and they also noticed the insecurity. we ordered the food. appetizer, main course carving (3 different, i.e. two had the same) with bratkartoffeln or pommes and salat. the hand cheese was good. the portion quite large, although we were told before on demand, there were only two pieces, it was 4. the salate was unfortunately not dressed, but on top of the green (not evaluating) an esspoon-sized kleks very viscous dressing. too little for everything, but tastefully so bad that you didn't want to have much more. schnitzel: 2 x without sauce, 1 x magdalenhofschnitzel and 1 x drachensteinschnitzeldie meat quality is unfortunately lowest category, it reminds of press meat and is tastefully simply bad. and we were hungry for hours walking and had eaten nothing since the morning. the sauces are unambiguously packing goods, although in the menu the impression should be awakened that they are self-made ("abflambiert with a shot of rheinguric Rieslingweinbrand").Pommes were ok. bratkartoffeln were great. great kartoffel quality as you expect on the country and perfectly prepared. of course we had not eaten. the half-embrassed teller stood on the table, the glasses long empty. there was no one, though we tried several times to make us noticeable until we didn't go over for a short time to decide that we would like to have a drink. then the chefin came, as we learned, and took up our other drinks, but unfortunately did not clean up from the table. at the next beverage delivery (it came first 2 out of 4 ordered drinks) we then asked that the table be removed. a part was then taken along. so that the rest is removed, we had to remember the service once again when she brought the second drinks and without what to go with. overall very disappointing. would not be the beautiful garden. in no case again to eat, at most a hand cheese after a walk, the beautiful garden because.

We held an office get-together here and the event was perfect. Before even entering the restaurant the whole setting was worth having your camera out. Surrounded by vineyards, on a hillside overlooking Rudesheim (when we left, the Niederwalddenkmal was all lit up down the valley in full view), not to mention the building was full of antiques and fountains out front. Once inside, I didn't see a bad seating area. Out straight through the back of the restaurant though was an outside seating area overlooking the Rhine Valley which would've been nice, but it was a little cold. They had English menus. I had the sweet Riesling of theirs and it was excellent. I had the pepper schnitzel and it was good, but the rump steak my wife had was admittedly even better. The service was good also. We'll be coming back when it's warmer and the wife's parents are back in town.

despite very different reviews here in the portal we have dared a try and were very satisfied. karte offers regional cuisine without a crisp taste, which unfortunately becomes more common in the front rheingau and there are actually still well drinkable weine for 3,30 €, also a rareness meanwhile. eating was good, especially delicious I found the side salad, because he didn't come cold and tasteless from the refrigerator, but he was room warm, where do you still find that? (I hope this wasn't a coincidence). the dressing was very much distributed after my taste, thin, and all salat enough. The service power was friendly and nice and we were served quickly and quickly. We will gladly come back and hope not to be disappointed in the new one.

The Weingut Magdalenenhof is a wonderful place to stay in the very busy town of Ruedesheim. The location is absolutely wonderful .It is the place to stay over night! We stayed for 3 nights with the entire family , my Husband and my three Daughters for my Birthday. The Hotel is very unique so are some of the rooms they only have 8 rooms. Make sure you book one with a balcony ! The owner Mrs. Blaes is exceptionally friendly she is able to acommodate every wish you will have!!The Breakfast is very good, it has something for everyone. The Restaurant is very cozy and uniquley decorated. We had dinner with all different dishes everybody was happy ! They have there own wine and ,Schnapps" supherb selection!
