I really enjoyed my meal. I had the Escargot which was delicious, the 14oz strip which was to be cooked medium rare, but was served a a tick closer to medium. It was still very good. I also had the add in lobster tail which was unfortunately over done, rubbery, and lacking flavor. My meal was accompanied with French onion soup which was outstanding, and I enjoyed a great traditional whisky sour as well as a Negroni. Overall I would say the meal timing could have been much better as my appetizer came out quickly, but my soup followed very shortly after, and my steak within minutes after soup. The lobster tail didn’t arrive until my steak was finished. It probably sat under the heat lamp for too long hence the overcooking. The service was attentive to the right degree. Our server was present but not overly so and knowledgeable with wine and drink pairings. Overall I would go back when I am in the area.

Only dampener on the evening was having a confirmed reservation time but still had to stand in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting and as the bar was full we could only stand in the lobby. With the number of empty tables all around us all evening we were a bit perplexed why our reservation time was not honored and we were not seated much sooner.

This place is AMAZINGAfter spending so much time in Italy and particularly Florence, I was ruined for life in enjoying gelato again in Australia.

This is an authentic Italian gelateria in Teneriffe We tried the chocolate, nocciola (hazelnut) and caffe mandorla (coffee almond).

I feel like dessert places get easy high ratingsMaybe that just reflects what a valuable part of life dessert is.
