Wawa's Asian Kitchen

I'd been weeks into my Europe trip and was craving some asian food. Switzerland in my opinion is a food desert. The most popular and reasonable dish seems to be hamburgers (or maybe pizzas). So I was really happy to find this vietnamese place...on the Flon area in Lausanne. The Pho I had was great, great stock and meat to accompany. The menu looked like ti had the full set of choices for a good Vietnamese place. And for Switzerland a reasonable price.

Their idea was to make the first south-east Asian foodspot in Lausanne but they failed miserably. Paying almost bucks to get WAY TOO MUCH rice, flavorless steamed chicken and a huge flood of sauce will make you feel ripped off, trust me. Concept is...GOOD but the execution isn't. Instead if you like real asian food (with an ASIAN taste) try Chez Xu locations in Lausanne), wayyy better.

I go to WAWA every time with my girlfriend and we always have a good time. The pho bovine noodle soup is the best and just like all dishes on the menu. The owner and the waitress is super nice and friendly. They sometimes give us free drinks. The atmosphere and food will make you feel at home. The best restaurant in Switzerland

This restaurant offers authentic asian kitchen ! It really felt like if I was back in asia eating in one of the streetfood stalls

Asian cuisine with a modern touch. We have takeaway often.
