Update March 2022 I have learned that all of the mochi filling is red bean. The different flavors (chocolate, strawberry, and green bean) are for the outside mochi dough, which personally doesn't make sense to me. The food quality is still the same. For new items I've tried: the green tea (matcha) cheesecake has a disappointly gritty matcha taste, and the crawfish salad has real crawfish meat and is very creamy. The service is still friendly and efficient. Only some of staffare wearing masks. Oct 2021 Decent sushi, good service, and one questionable moment that caused me to take off one star. All the staff wear masks and there are barriers between the booths and in the middle of the conveyor belt, separatingthe opposite directions. I don't remember if there's a barrier between the bar seating and the kitchen area. The questionable moment was seeing a huge fly trapped in one of the sushi plates on the conveyor belt. In the kitchen, it lookslike the staff premake the sushi and other food plates, cover them, and then stack them to one side of the counter. When they see a particular food running low on the belt, they add to the conveyor belt from the stack. They can also easilyadd or take away different types of food since the belt is pretty open to the kitchen for most of its length. There are holes in the covers, but they aren't very big. I suppose the fly could have crawled in through a hole, but I think it'smore likely someone wasn't paying attention before covering the sushi plate. The sushi quality was pretty good for mall sushi, and they have a few interesting sushi rolls. Most notable were the PB&J roll (self explanatory) and the MarylandCrab roll (with real crab and dusted liberally with Old Bay, lemon on the side). I think the MD crab roll had too much Old Bay, but I personally don't like Old Bay that much. I did not see sashimi on the conveyor belt, so I'm guessing youhave to order that. The spider roll was a disappointment without much (or any) s

i Absolutely adore the concept of this place. The conveyor belt interactive concept where you just sit down, and grab a plate from the moving belt, and prices are depending to the color of the plate chosen. Plates range anywhere from around $3.50-$8 I believe. You can get a decent roll consisting of about 4 to 5 pieces for $5. Oh, I should add that the rolls are not full rolls most of the quality ones have 5 pieces tops. But there are some other rolls with about 6 to 8 piecestoo, I got the Tyson's Dragon roll this visit, i loved the dragon roll, the presentation is cute the eel was yummy. This particular visit I didn't think my cup was too clean but in good faith it could've been stained from previousorders (as it seems like their designated cup for green tea) Do not expect a Japanese steakhouse type of sushi quality, or even too much of the best mom and pop (small) sushi restaurants that you've been to. The big thing about this placeis more so the experience of it all and how cool the conveyor belt is. But with that being said ...I have always enjoyed sushi here every time I visited wasabi. 2.5 stars but the experience makes it a solid 3.

It was our first experience of Kaitenzushi dining and it was pleasant. I can ignore the seating was so close that you literally bumped into the person sitting besides you. We weren?t really hungry but ended up eating spider roll, blue crab roll and salmon&avocado roll and also ordered poke bowl. Prices are quite reasonable and everything we had was good.

This was a fun experience in eating sushi. You basically grab a plate as it motors by on the conveyor. Different color plates have different prices. It was a good way to enjoy different kinds of sushi and it all tasted good. The service and presentation are a bit lacking, however, when you get used to the concept it can be an easy fun way to fill up.
