Bitter cold and was looking forward to a nice hot lunch. That we did not get. Ordered mushrooms for starter 's then x 2 mains. Asked for the starter to come with the mains. The war horse was not busy around 8 other people. Didn 't have to wait too long for the food, when it arrived the main was warm and the Mushrooms just above freezing. Took the mushrooms back to the bar to be spoken to by another couple, eating. Is yours cold too? we had to send our gammon back. The staff were fine about me returning the food and aapologised and will return a fresh batch. It 's not a fresh batch, just the same re-heated and fully dried out!! Then to hear more people complain. It 's not a good first visit at all. Hate to see when it 's busy. Will not return, sorry.
Thank you for a wonderful night out. I entered and as my family went to go and get a table I went to get the drinks and was served by a lovely member off staff Matthew. I ordered a Stella and 2 cokes. I ordered a steak and it was a tiny bit soggy so if that could improve that would be great.
Excellent festive menu everything was so tasty and great value for money. Lovely staff nothing is too much trouble. We have re booked for New Years Eve the Turkey was the most tender ever! Well done team War Horse and Happy Christmas to you all xx
Lovely pub, nice relaxing atmosphere plenty of tables sat by the window on nice round table . Had full English breakfast extremely good value . Welcoming staff . Clean bar . Only let down no coffee
