Waldrestaurant Zähringer Burg

We were in the forest restaurant in early January to eat cheese fondue. However, this was a complete disappointment, as the fondue cheese sold at the supermarket tastes better: The cheese fondue in the forest restaurant was hardly or badly seasoned and obviously diluted with water, such as the cheese from the bread HERUNTERTROPFTE, without pulling threads. The taste was watery. In addition, it is so dark in the guest room that you could not read the card reasonably in the evening without a flashlight (handy). In addition, it took a long time to serve the food. Only really nice aspect: The cat for greeting in the Windang of the entrance. Conclusion: The bought Gerber cheese fondue is really delicious and also attracts white cheese threads.

Very good food. Super friendly service. Very good service. Prices are reasonable. We ate there. Due to the beautiful weather, the interior of the Candellight was moved outwards. Includes table decoration, deck for all courses and even tablecloth. Unfortunately, we had forgotten the lead in the excitement about engagement. Now we have another reason to go back there and enjoy the delicious food.

Beautiful garden restaurant in the countryside. In the interior it is romantically decorated with old wooden tables and in the evening the rooms are immersed in atmospheric flaming candlelight. The food is good and from the price o.k. Tip: The key to the ascent to the view tower of the castle Zähringer can be borrowed at the bar of the restaurant. (But please back!)
