So been going here for a long time pretty regularly and we enjoy the food, although some chefs are better than others. But this review isn't about the food. Just a warning to anyone bringing a few folks here for a birthday or larger event like we did. So, first off... This is on me too, Wabi Sabi gave me the itemized receipt and the card merchant receipt for the bill, and honestly I just scanned the itemized and looked at the merchant bill to wrap out the check. So the tab was like $825 I paid a 20% tip and signed off at just shy of a grand. Well I found the old receipt, and come to find out they included about $120 in tips in the $825... Now I know it's common for restaurants to do this w/larger parties and I should have done my due diligence, but bc we go here pretty often I just did the usual. But kinda shiesty that they didn't tell me the included the tips and the merchant receipt still has the tip boxes on it even after including the tips. So anyway, hey guess the service staff got blessed that night. But heads up y'all and buyer beware!!! They aren't going to tell you tips are included in the bill, and don't be like me and double tip.

Wabi Sabi has been a family favorite over the years, and even though the new one opened up in Eastvale, this location is the one we prefer to visit. We sat in a booth since there was no wait, but I do enjoy watching the chefs cook. The place is a typical Japanese themed restaurant with a Teppanyaki side and a sushi bar side, with booths located between. The food at this visit was great, with the chicken and steak cooked perfectly, as well as the calamari. The staff was great, friendly and really attentive. You can understand why this place is pretty busy on a Monday night. We even got a little treat from the sushi chef, even though we didn't get sushi during this visit.

My Husband I stopped by this location and was waiting to sit but as we sat down in the waiting area we viewed how dirty the waiting area was. We decided to leave but not before taking a few pictures. If the waiting area is this way I can only imagine how the kitchen and dining area may be. I hope they will correct this as there have to be more customers that walked out because of the plants in the waiting area that is full of dust hair!! and the floor and chairs were dirty as well. Enlarge the photos for details. If I could give them a no star rating I would.

Walked in at 5PM for a nice dinner with my wife at the bar. Right when we walked in we were greeted with a lady laying down in a booth with her feet on a chair at the end of the table right behind us. Table was full of dishes so we thought maybe just a little too much to drink or something and was taking a little nap. We were wrong, she got up and went behind the bar. Cleared her throat nice and loud, huge sneeze and continued to touch the register. WTF!!! Really. Needless to say we just walked out.
