It's very over priced but as it's right on/next to Novartis campus this isn't surprising. Bat snacks; nuts, crisps, etc. are available for a charge. The beers are good but last I was there they only had 3 options. For a brewery it seems they sell more gin than beer. It is a nice place to meet ppl after work and in nice weather there is plenty of outside seating.
I love craft beer and Volta Brau has an awesome facility and the beer garden is amazing. Having said that their beers are not very good. I tried a full set of tasters and really wanted to like them - but didn't. I think the Novartis crowd might like the location, but the brewmaster needs to get some better hops and update the recipes.
Very rude waiter (Lukas)! He literally ruined our night with his attitude! He made our beer night so annoying! I recommend cooling a bit more there...
Great after work place. Don't expect fine dining just your usual pub food. Not really any to complain about.
