Nestled in the quaint English Village area of Mountainbrook (Birmingham, the restaurant sits on a corner with a great view of a cute neighborhood. Our experience was outside in the courtyard, so I can't speak much of the interior. They appear to have a couple of indoor wine bars with an array of fine art. The menu features an impressive wine selection (and coctails. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner. My wife had the Wild Salmon Kbob and i went with the fish of the night -Swordfish! Our meals were prompt, hot, and scrumptious! Will definitely return!

For our main course my husband ordered the hangar steak, which was delicious and I ordered the tenderloin medallions, which should have been great but the temperature was wrong. They made it up and comp?d the order, so that wasgreat! All in all, a great place for date night and we?ll go again!
We had reservations tonight to eat outside and order drinks and a my martini came without olives and our waitress said oh I?m sorry they should?ve put olives with that. Take about 10 minutes to get Olives and more red sauce for crab claws. We ordered fish and was told it was the redfish which was a flaky fish and Amberjack was brought out instead. I also ordered a bowl with grouper and artichokes and had a half of an artichoke in whole bowl.
Fantastic atmosphere on the terrace, friendly service, sufficient food. If the weather allowed, Vino has over the most beautiful terrace in the city for dinner (within me is like a prison, although the enclosed bar is OK). The food is not with the best restaurants in the area, but good enough considering a beautiful bottle of wine and a wonderful environment. Bring back the Frito Misto appetizer that was big enough for a duck!
