Vineria da Angelo

My wife came home from work yesterday and suggested that as we didn't have much food in the house, we should eat out. We couldn't decide where to go, so when she proposed we try "the Italian we've passed by so many times and never tried", I had no better idea, so off we went. As we walked towards the front door, she expressed her reservations, as we had no reservations ;-) and from the outside, it looked to be full...on a Wednesday night! Seeing a place so full in the middle of the week always gives us confidence in the quality of the establishment. Luckily, we were immediately led to an available table and presented with the menu. Drinks and appetiser on the table, I ordered a tagliatelle with turkey pieces and a creamy mushroom sauce, whilst my wife opted for a pasta with pesto, sun-dried tomatoes and pistachio. Both dishes were extremely good. I normally choose pizza when we visit an Italian restaurant but there is no pizza here, for which, in hindsight, I'm very happy about. My tagliatelle was really delicious and there was plenty of it. My wife's pasta, whilst being equally enjoyable, appeared to have some spiciness that she wasn't expecting from the description in the menu. Nevertheless, she ploughed through it and agreed with my verdict; we had found a real treasure and only five minutes from our own front door. If you enjoy a pleasant ambience, friendly staff and extraordinarily tasty food, then you should definitely give this place a go. I'm confident that you'll be glad you did.

Dall´ultima cena a Bonn gia´ne e´passato molto di tempo, pero´mi sembra giusto ringraziare ad Angelo per una serata bellissima!Il locale e´molto bello, un ambiente allegro, ed il proprietario sempre con un bel sorriso, il che aiuta molto per sentirsi a proprio agio.Abbiamo preso un antipasto e un bel piatto di spaghetti, poi un pezzettino di carne, ed il dolce, il tutto preparato con buona mano e delizioso!Gli spaghetti cucinati al dente, sono molto difficili da trovare ancora oggi in Germania, nonostante ci siano molti locali italiani, un buon 80% lascia molto a desiderare...grazie a Dio da Angelo ci si puo´fidare ciecamente!Per una bella serata tra amici od in famiglia, o per una occcasione romantica, ne vale proprio la pena! GRAZIE!

Wir waren im Juni wieder mal in der Vineria. Bei schönem Wetter haben wir herrlich auf der Terrasse gesessen. Kaum haben wir gesessen, kam auch schon die Bedienung. Das Essen ist hier sehr abwechslungsreich. Die Portionen sind nach unserer Auffassung sehr groß. Wir hatten jeweils eine Vorspeise sowie ein Hauptgericht. Etwas zu viel...aber die Qualität der Speisen stimmt. Das beste ist jedoch immer noch die Weinauswahl. Hier sollte wirklich für jeden etwas dabei sein. Einziges Manko: bei größeren Gruppen wird es sehr laut, sodass man sich kaum noch unterhalten kann, da auch die Tische sehr eng stehen.

In der Vineria da Angelo herrscht eine typische italienische Atmosphäre.Liebenswert, ein wenig hektisch, lange braucht man dort nicht auf den Service warten. Auch wenn das Lokal proppenvoll ist.(was es eigentlich immer ist!)Bei leckerem Wein und vielen guten Leckereien vergeht der Abend wie im Flug.Tipp: bitte reservieren!!!!!Ansonsten einen guten Appetit und angenehmen Aufenthalt !!
