The Village Food Garden is the food court located within Shop Rite. It's an impressive selection. They have BBQ, a deli, a pizza place, a coffee shop, Chinese food, a sushi joint, a diner and even an oyster bar. Seriously, they have all that. It's a ridiculously good selection. After doing our groceries, my wife and I came back in to have some lunch. I went with some sushi pretty excellent selection and reasonable prices. A 9 piece roll was about $6 for spicy tuna or spicy salmon which is better than almost any restaurant. My wife had a sandwich from the deli which was freshly made and cheap at $4. I had a bite and it was good. Overall, I wasn't blown away by the sushi but it was pretty good. I haven't had much supermarket sushi before but I guess this was pretty much exactly what I was expecting (in a good way). I'd totally get it again. They even have a separate place to sit down and eat very similar to a mall food court but nicer. We were able to enjoy our meal completely separated from the rest of the busy and noisy supermarket. It was quite pleasant. They have fountain sodas and they always taste great. After we finished eating, we even noticed that there was a section where they teach cooking classes as there was a working kitchen. I'd probably never go to a cooking class because I don't cook but that's definitely a pretty cool little feature. I'll be back.

Juice bar is extremely overpriced. The employees are so scattered they rarely have an of what the other is doing. Got a juice and 1 began making the juice and walked away and the other one took over. With no idea of what was already in there $20 later we got about 80% of what we ordered. They also waste so much food. I've been there about 5 times and every single drink I watch them make, there's more than double left in the blender which is then thrown out. They need to be retrained and given proper recipes.

The cashier Steve seemed put-out when asked if I can buy lottery tickets. He greeted us with 'what do you want '. There 's no place for attitude when you deal with customers. Very unprofessional! I wanted to do one stop shopping...but after this experience, I 'll be getting my lottery someplace else. Very rude!!!!

I'm in love with the açai bowl! Other than that, it's your typical buffet style food. The yogurt bar is very overpriced, around eight dollars per pound. Other than that, I've tried to sushi and it was decent. Nothing special but I like to stop there on my lunch break.
