Villa Schmidt Restaurant

location of the restaurant top - directly on the Rhine located on German side. we had a table reserved. only after a long time waiting and waving on our side the card was taken. there was not much going on and there were awesome staff. after about 40 minutes, no service had yet come to take up the drinks. we again drew attention to us through gestures - nothing. seemingly, the French-speaking personal, who speaks only broken German, has touched with German. French were served immediately. we rose up after about 50 minutes and left. no one came from the personal and asked. very sad.This locality will not see us - despite the great location -. It seems that you are not dependent on German guests, there are plenty of french people on the German Rhine side.

on these beautiful summer days, when the terrace justifies eating in the villa, the rest - apart from the friendly service - was disappointing was good (seafood bite - in reality only mush -) was really too salty, the too little cooked noodles and the sauce next to the vol au vent, almost cold. the spaghetti bolognese were really too salty the portions are very generous, but it would? it was better if the addition of salt was less to not spoil everything. the person who had the grills of the day was satisfied with it. I used to eat better in this restaurant.

if you want to stuff yourself with half frozen, half prefabricated, the brunches of the villa are like made for them! they are received in a general disorder (unpolished, involuntary waiters, reservations lost, whether they go by phone or e-mail etc.), sitting on a terrace with drain odour and offering them the simplest food! , it will be so delicious in quantity delightful! delicious, lovers of good value for money or anyone looking for a cozy and quiet environment - skip their train!

restaurant on the rheinufer to discover, the menu is varied and offers typical dishes. the white carving is really delicious and the dish is generous.The personal smiles, is professional and speaks French. it was a very pleasant moment
