I went here years ago and the food was great. Almost loved the atmosphere.. I got the CACIO E PEPE. It was a pasta with grated pecorino cheese and fresh black pepper. I kindly told the waiter that the black pepper was too overpowering and if they could send me a new plate. The black pepper was all over it. She said that’s how it supposed to be. I kindly said that it was too much black pepper and all I could taste. I was very kind and never complain. She took it and had a look on her face. Very argumentative. The pasta came back much better and I enjoyed it. I told the waiter that it was delicious and thank her. Not a word and horrible unwelcoming service that I will never go back. Yes you fixed the problem but gave me unprofessional responses. I asked for a box. She said she can do it. I kindly said no that’s ok I can do it myself. She was upset by this and insisted she can do it. I never had to argue with the waiter and it was so unwelcoming. I order the lava cake and it tasted horrible. I didn’t send it back and just wanted to be done. Food is decent but horrible service. You should be able to go to a place and feel welcomed.
Wow. I am reluctant to post a review because I do not see how I could do justice to the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The whole family works here, but they are not working they are hosting and feeding people with love, enthusiasm and incredible talent. I give Duck Tours in Boston and mention this restaurant. Do you want an amazing experience with incredible food? This is the place to go.
I can see why this would be rated the number one rated restaurant in Norwood. The food is amazing from start to finish. The service is top notch, and the atmosphere is quaint and inviting. I can't wait to go back.
