Went for the first time, to celebrate our baby's 1st birthday with a pizza dinner. Went on a Monday at 5.15pm and got one of the last tables. Even with the patio, this place is tiny! But good things come in small packages and our food was delicious!We ordered two pizzas, thinking we'd take some home, but no. We ate it all. So deliciously light yet flavourful. Loved the homemade fennel sausage topping especially. Even the baby was chowing through slices with glee!If you do come with little kids, know that they only have one highchair. When we arrived, we were told it was already in use. Thankfully I'd brought along a clip on highchair, so it wasn't an issue. If you have a clip on or travel highchair, take it with you, just in case. You want both hands free so you can enjoy this lovely slice of heaven!
Brought our 2 children, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facilities, dining area, kitchen were all very clean. Cooks were all smiling and acknowledging when we walked in. We had the Formaggio, Margherita, and Rucola e Prosciutto. Ever since going to the Amalfi coast 10 years ago, we are Margherita fiends. These pizzas were 7/10 based on the fact that they were crispy, thin, and not overloaded. But the overall flavour and sauces weren't the greatest, and the Margherita didn't have mozzarella di bufala just fior di latte.However, for the instant service, quality of food, and price point ($14-18), a solid 4 stars. Would definitely go back.
Small - only seats 20 inside (patio is also open but it was +30 so... - and always seems busy (full at 5:45)...but with good reason. Start with the crostini - it's really good.Had filetti and panna pancetta. Both were great and the saltiness on the pancetta won the round. This is great pizza for a reasonable price.Kona IPA was available so I totally took advantage of that. Service was prompt and friendly. Great place if you can get it!
This is easily my favourite pizza restaurant in Winnipeg. Crispy, chewy, slightly charred crust. Flavourful toppings. So tasty. My only complaint is that it is a tiny restaurant without enough tables. Come early to get a spot!
