Vegi Wokery - Table reservation

We were here for many years and were so disappointed that Bonnie sold it. In the night we discovered that there were new owners, we found the service super slow and the food just okay. It's probably a year since then and tonight we decided to try another one. I can't tell you if the service was faster or the food was better because if we went in 35 minutes before the published closing time, they told us it's just out. After traveling from LB, we had no interest in leaving. There was no single person in the restaurant, so I thought they might have a reason to close the dining room tonight, so I asked and she said they always close it at that time because they close soon. In 35 minutes?! So, BOGUS!

When I went the first time I thought it was OKAY. The food was super oily for my taste and nothing special. One time I went back and it looked like they were doing food prep, they had a huge pile of green beans just sitting on top of the table in the dining area? I’ve heard they have new owners since then, but it’s also more expensive with smaller portions now.

We are here regularly, but from our first visit we felt like at home. Our friendly neighborhood waitress knows what we like and remember when we forget and patiently allowed our eleven year old twins practice their mandarin at the order. We love the food and the familiar friendly sniper we expected when we send in. One of our favorites go to spots!!!

I was hesitant to stop by given previous ratings and the “B” grade. I also went online to check out how the restaurant earned that “B” grade and was a bit scared. But I finally went after 4 months of thinking about it. I was there for lunch (take out) and was happy with my order
