I visited Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and I must say it was an incredible experience! What I really liked was the great selection of vegan and regular ice options it is the first place I was really has a balanced selection of both. I decided to go with a classic chocolate cone, and it was just amazing. The ice cream was rich and creamy, with a deep chocolate flavor that was absolutely addicted. The cone itself was perfectly crispy and well held with the generous scoop ice cream above. One of the things I most appreciated about Van Leeuwen was the attention to detail in their ingredients. I bought a pint of this ice cream at my local supermarket. The flavor I chose was strawberry and I eagerly opened the container when I got home. The ice cream was a pretty pale pink color and pleasantly flavored. However, there was not one single trace of a real strawberry in the entire pint. Zero! We shared the pint, thinking that perhaps the strawberry pieces had fallen to the bottom of the container…no luck. Pleasant flavor, if you’d like to pretend that a strawberry has paid a quick visit. I am afraid that that was the last pint of this brand that I will shell out$7.99 for. I prefer to know that a real strawberry has passed by!
this location is sweet and low key. the interior design is what was most. there are seats and benches along the window that I like. eating ice on the jump is a sport that I prefer not to play lol service was fast despite indecisive customers. I'm a little airborne. I order the same. I didn't feel rushed here compared to other van leeuwen locations. I tried other flavors. all I think is my fav situation.
The stuff you were so nice and friendly! They let me try out a few flavors and discuss their favorite as well as the most popular flavors with me. I really enjoyed my experience with this place just because of the staff alone. I ended up getting the earl grey ice cream, which was so flavorful. I definitely will return again. They have such a unique flavors here. Overall great experience
