I've been to Usagi a few times, ever since they opened, and am happy to say they maintain the quality and add new dishes to the menu - to keep also the regulars, satisfied. One can have a lovely dinner or simply nibble on the "Tapasu" - small dishes in the size of Tapas but with a clear Japanese orientation. The variety of alcoholic options is fantastic, a serious range of Sake and very creative and delicious Cocktails based on it. Staff is efficient with a smile and the only thing worth improving is the ventilation. In summer time, the front is open and guests enjoy a certain breeze. Wintertime, on the other hand, can be far less enjoyable. Then, one can expect to smell like a fried Gioza after a few minutes....so make sure you sit afar from the cooking station.

Extrem hochwertige Gerichte in extrem cooler Atmosphäre. Meeega!!!!Love løv love it. Best restaurant/bar/izakaya/resto/bis in town, in Germany and even one of my favourite places in the world. Discovered this little Japanese tapas place on an evening stroll around the neighborhood. The lachs tataki (salmon with avocado) was spectacular. I also highly recommend the chilli garlic edamame starter and gyozas. Overall the experience was very "umami" . The staff was great. Sidenote: sipping the sake from giant white wine glasses felt a bit odd.
Usagi does give you a new experience. The japanese food served in Tapas style are delicious and well decorated. The Ramen noodles are delicious, the Gyozos were extraordinary and the place has nice anime style theme to it. Price is a bit higher than average for the portions they serve though. Therefore 4/5Worth the experience
