Once a year after years, the Basecamp Bonn serves as a background for a Cosplay event. 18. I heard a lot about staying in a railcar. When it even said that the organizer pays the helpers both nights per night usually costs between 57 and 77€ including breakfast, nothing has stopped me: the base camp. A crazy hotel, something else. Overnight stay with retro-camping feeling! Great idea: indoor campsite in a large, bright hall with old caravans, campers and even a gondola lift, all implemented with attention to detail, e.g. with matching seating groups in front of the theme caravans and corresponding decoration. The common sanitary facilities (such as camping are modern, very well equipped (also with toilet paper, clean and not adequately equipped. The breakfast area is located on the large installation hall, also here original design details, e.g. a part of the food is presented on an old work bench and you can take a place on cinema seats. Breakfast is relatively simple, but absolutely sufficient, I just missed (cooked eggs). Everything looks appetizing and it is repeatedly controlled whether something is missing. The staff is very friendly, helpful and forward-looking. And last but not least, the price-performance ratio is true! Tip: Check before booking whether the room and comfort offer of the selected accommodation also meets your own requirements and physical requirements. For example, in the old sleeping car compartments it is very narrow, the beds are very narrow and if occupied with 2 persons, you must have his bed by ladder (so were the old sleeping car. I had booked the compartment on my own, the place reached me (in Dackelgarage and Isomatte received).
Direkt am BaseCamp hat ein kleiner aber feiner Burgerimbiss eröffnet. Hier gibt es wöchentlich wechselnde und ausgefallene und preiswerte Burgerkreationen, wie den "Monkey Burger" mit südamerikanischen Kochbananen, den "Sate Burger" mit asiatischem Touch oder einen Spanischen Burger mit Chorizo und Manchego Käse. Alle Burger waren superlecker und endlich mal eine Abwechslung zum Standard-Burgerangebot. Neben Burgern gibt es auch klassische Gerichte wie "Currywurst mit Pommes". Man kann draussen sehr schön sitzen und bei schlechtem Wetter steht ein Bierzelt zur Verfügung. Ideal für die Mittagspause zwischen 12:00 und 15:00!
Der ausgefallene Burger-Container am BaseCamp bietet tolle frische Burger und wechselnde Wochengerichte. Der südamerikanische Koch war bisher immer super gelaunt und sehr zuvorkommend im Service. Man kann sich seit neustem auch unter das Vordach des BaseCamps setzen (bei schlechtem Wetter). Tolle Atmosphäre!!
