Was looking forward to trying Uncle Jim, ordered take-away beef rendang & stir fry veg in sambal. First disappointment,the beef was tough which is a cardinal sin with rendang. I then pulled out 2 very long hairs from said rendang. First mouthful of veg stir fry I bit into something very hard (a rock I suspect) which then shattered into a million pieces, very fortunate not to damage any teeth. By this time I had lost my appetite and chucked it all in the bin. All in all a very bad experience.
Do not look at the environment because it really does not reflect the food. To be honest, the restaurant looks like a **** !! But the food is far above the average. For a good asian lunch it is worth a try!
