Huge disappointment when rated so highly on Tripadvisor. Tourist trap with poor quality food. Tortilla like rubber, black pudding Luke warm, chorizo in whisky had cold cast iron dish without whisky alcohol flambés off. Chorizo sausages and chilli swimming in a low quality whisky. Vermouth de cash was reasonable. Patatas Bravas reasonable but def not the best. Concerns raised with waitress regarding quality but no feedback. We will not be back or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very big concern when previous reviews recommended so much .
Only had a choice of two set menus, each consisting of 7 courses, one set menu being vegetarian. The meat set menus was made up of mainly 4 vegatables courses with 3 courses with minuscule amounts of meat or fish. Sadly it is vastly overpriced for what was very tiny portions. It really didn’t live up to our expectations and we will not be returning unless they adopt a more varied and better priced menu.
This is a basic eatery, you get a tapa with each drink, we visited in the evening and only wanted something to fill us, the service is quick, staff friendly and the food is basic, but great value. Give it a go.
Excellent value, paella lunch and vino blanco del casa after long morning trekking the castle. Terrific value, friendly service, highly recommend this little gem to all.
