Twenty Two Cafe Bar & Grill

While staying at the Adina Apartments I tried this restaurant as it is in the same building and convenient. I ordered the Rib Eye steak, medium rare with vegetables and hollandaise sauce. The steak was over cooked and so tough and chewy it was inedible. The vegetables were cold, the hollandaise was served in a small bowl and had formed a skin it was so cold. The meal was very overpriced at $37, especially as the quality was so poor. I would not recommend eating here at all.

A recent solo stay at the Adina Norwest, which takes up three floors of the building housing this Cafe, dictated a meal close to my accommodation. An engaging waiter, good wine choices and a delicious rib eye steak with all the trimmings included at reasonable prices and fast delivery made for a pleasant experience. Breakfast the next morning was once again efficient with a yummy Eggs Benedict to set the tone for the day.

Here for breakfast each day when staying in the Adina hotel, coffee never seemed to be hot enough and one day they forgot my coffee altogether until I went back and asked for it. Mainly had eggs on toast, nothing to write home about but the prices definitely seem on the high side.

I had the big breakfast. A bit pricey in comparison to other eateries in the area but I suppose they can afford to hike the price since their main clientele are business people whose companies are paying the bill. Service was quick and friendly. Coffee was good.

We had a few drinks here. Good ambience. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat anything. The menu did look interesting.
