We were really excited to get a reservations at Trummer's since it such a great reputation and has received so many excellent reviews. For us, though, the overall experience was disappointing. The menu made all of the food sound wonderful, and everything we ordered looked absolutely beautiful. Sadly, for the most part the taste of many items did not live up to either the expectation or the cost. I hate to criticize a restaurant, especially after the difficult year so many places have endured. But, there are a few things I think it might be helpful to the owners to point out. I will talk to one item each from the multiple appetizers, two entrees, and two desserts we ordered The cornbread is apparently something the restaurant is know for. It only cost five dollars, so it might seem nitpicky to even mention it, but our cornbread was so dry that the bottom of the bread fell off when we cut through it, as though it was either way overcooked, or stale The duck was simply not carefully prepared. Part of it was so badly undercooked it verged on raw, while other parts were dry and too tough to chew. I am not a chef, but even I know that with a delicate piece of meat like this, it needs to be pounded into an even thickness so that all parts cook equally The sorbet trio did not come close to tasting like the menu descriptions. The flavors were two of the sorbets were unpleasantly strong, with odd aftertastes. It was like someone was trying too hard to be creative, without making the effort to taste the final products. So, overall, we saw a truly beautiful restaurant, and food that sounded and looked exquisite. A few of the dishes did taste great (especially the happy hour five dollar beef skewers, and the rotisserie chicken), but most simply did not live up to billing. We had hoped to add Trummer's to our list of special occasion restaurants, but, sadly, that won't be the case for us

From start to finish, we were wished happy anniversary which felt very special. We were a bit disappointed in the lack of a higher quality cut of beef on the menu. But the food otherwise was delicious. The signature "Titanic" drink wasn't as good as expected but worth a try Appreciate the special care for our occasion, including sample dessert champagne, plus very attentive service from all staff

I came here for my birthday dinner as a first time guest and stepping into Trummer's feels like stepping into a different world.

Wow, the interior of this place is fantastic! My sister and BIL brought me here for lunch this past weekend.
