For Valentine's dinner we went and celebrated Trulucks in Rosemont. What an excellent experience... From the first greeting all the way through Dessert. Our waiter was Rudy, who was fantastic. We couldn't have searched for a better server. My wife and I decided to share the sea bass and steak, as well as a Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail. The shrimp cocktail was served beside dry ice cream, which was simply a touch of class! For Dessert we enjoyed a special gift from Flambe Baked Alaska, which was accordingly set on fire, which was spectacular! To enjoy a perfect night, the singer in the restaurant was phenomenal. We only knew after we heard 3 songs about the restaurant's sound system that it was actually a live singer. Thank you. Truluck is for a wonderful unforgettable evening! A. Very recommended. #TeamRudy
I want to say I usually cook Thanksgiving dinner, but this year has been hard after my father and my SO work a first reactant, we were looking for somewhere in the last minute and found all on open table. Best decision! First from the decor is fantastic and simply beautiful. Secondly, the service of Rich was great. Third (really tied first) food was amazing! I've ever had the best crabs and sea bass. He had the Thanksgiving Festival and it was fantastic. Thank you for the great experience and we will be back.
This place was packed to make sure you have reservations and dress right. The staff was friendly and very efficient. The food... everything was good, but the Chilean sea bass only pampered in your mouth. It was so delicious. The Auhi tuna was very good, just not as delicious as the sea bass. There is a good selection of dishes on the menu and everything was served relatively quickly and portions were good.
I liked the ambience. I have been to authentic seafood restaurants in Boston, DC, and SF, and compared to those this is decent. The crab cake was OK. Good for one-time visit, if you are around O’Hare or the Fashion outlets of Chicago. A bit on the pricier side relative to the other fancy seafood places elsewhere. Overall positive!
