Trattoria Calabrese

We came to Trattoria Calabrese because we were visiting Richmond Park abd were curious about the 4.8 stars on Google (and we love Italian food and SO GLAD we came. The men who attended us were beyond nice, and the two pastas we ordered were amazing, the nduja one (it is spicy so beware! and the creamy prawn-salmon. All super good. The portions look small in the pictures, do not be fooled as they were quite big! Do come if you are in the area! We will be back for sure. Kid-friendliness: They have an attachable kid-chair to the adult chairs.

A friend who is a regular customer took us there on Saturday 4th November '23. We absolutely loved it. Wonderful greeting. Superb food. My wife and our friend had linguine gamberoni and I had calzone. A lovely experience in a tiny, snug environment. My only small gripe would be the fact that when one is in the loo, there is nothing on the restaurant side of the door that informs others that the loo is occupied! A bit disconcerting when one is in mid flow! Other than that, brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

Wednesday night? Italian near Kingston/ Richmond? We decided to try out Trattoria Calabrese, and man we weren't DISAPPOINTED. From the service to the food. The Chef made a suprise appearance which was very nice. Good staff, good people and even better food. Big 5/5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
