I haven't eaten here since I was a kid. I ordered the lime frozen and was transported back to my youth. The atmosphere of the 1950s is exactly what you want it to be in such an eatery. The prices are fair and the selection is widespread. I would strongly recommend here. Next time I order a lemon shaker. Update, I went back and ordered the lemon shake. Perfection. I also ordered the Chubby Checker. That's good with the shake.
One of those classic diners that is permanent Americana. Basic Entrees (hot beef sandwich, Corned beef sandwich, burger etc.), as well as Blue Bunny ice cream and homemade cakes. The hot Bratbeef is delish. Super-friendly owners and very appealing diner atmosphere.
This was our first visit, and definitely not our last! The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and courteous also on a busy day, and the atmosphere is fun and nostalgic. A great stop for our family dinner!
Traditions always have great sandwiches, cakes and ice cream. I recommend getting the Big Bopper Sandwich. Roast beef, ham, cheese and grilled onions with BBQ sauce. Absolutely delicious.
