This is a bustling lively place full of young people families. We went as a family of 3 generations with my elderly mum and we were all made to feel very welcome. It has a bar/pub type vibe rather than sophisticated restaurant but we each had a fantastic meal and couldn't believe the value for money. We expected small portions for the price but were very pleasantly surprised. My sons love a steak and one even said it was one of the best he had ever had, praise indeed! The marinated tenderloin was succulent and delicious, like a good piece of gammon. The accompanying salads were very fresh with a bit of everything and all meals were served quickly. We only just had time to finish our game of foosball!

I give 3 for the fine venue, the spectacular surroundings, fine service, quick order and the really nice young personell who spoke English really well. But the burger was not to my taste. The burger was huge but the meat was purple to the look and felt very processed. The bread was very pale and had a slippery feel when chewed. The union tasted alittle burned and the fries had a sort of light brown colour and tasted alittle like the onions. I'd recommend the restaurant to make a smaller burger with better quality ingredients and I'd give a 5 rating. Loved the place still and can imagine other dishes to be better.

We did try to eat here 2 times, due to the positive feedbacks, but there was no way for us to test the food. Both times the place was half empty and when asking for a table for four the waiter looking at us stated that the restaurant was full and when asking how much time we would have needed to wait the answer was well i don 't really know ... the last gift was if you want there is a table outside it was raining).

It is rare to find decent pubs in France and Spain. Luckily the Basque Country has several village pubs just like you might find in the UK. Not too far off the beaten track either. Nice that there is a cheap foosball and pool table. My only gripe is that they did not have any craft beer, odd considering there are so many artisan breweries in the local area.
