Toby Jug Cafe - Table reservation

I was in Boscastle for a couple of days and the warm late summer weather invited for an ice cream. The reviews said Toby's was the place to go and I trusted them. I don't think I've ever had a worse ice cream. The gentleman who served me the ice cream in a waffle cone didn't even have the foresight to serve it with a napkin, but kept touching it with his hands, even though he had just touched cash from the till. I asked if the ice cream was made by them and he said yes, I highly doubt it. Not recommended, sorry

Nice cafe in a beautiful location. Parking nearby. Staff were friendly. Got basic food but it was tasty and filling. Egg and chips and dirty fries with cheese, onion and jalapenos. We made a brief stop here for refreshments. Lovely coffee, cakes and sausage rolls. The staff were really friendly and made a fuss of our dog as well. He was pleased with his treat! Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
