I recently brought my little brother here for his birthday, and it turned out to be an absolutely extraordinary experience! The sheer variety of candies on offer left us both in awe, but what truly set this place apart was the owner’s exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm. He explained the store layout to us and shared lots of insight about the different sweets, their origins, and fun facts. But it wasn’t just the sweets that captured our attention; the store had a treasure trove of surprises. From organic, handmade candles to luxurious hand lotions and quirky bar soaps with hilariously creative names, there was something unique around every corner. We were also pleasantly surprised by the extensive collection of humorous cards, gifts, and other charming items. This establishment transcends the typical candy store experience. It’s a haven of wonder and delight, made even more exceptional by the owner’s personalized and informative approach. To top it all off, he generously gifted my little brother some treats for his birthday, leaving us with heartwarming memories. 12/10 would recommend and we will most definitely be returning!
I am a Canadian tourist and I have visited Fort Lauderdale many times in the past. Each time I go out of my way to pay visit to the moon candy and gift store. On this particular day, it is Halloween, so the roads are all closed off around the candy store so I found a place to park out back and came in through the back door which I was delighted with. When I got through the score of her way, my phone rang so as not to be rude, I went to step outside to take my phone call when the person behind the counter made a very snarky remark about it. I guess I’m gonna have to lock the back door he quipped. I ended up aborting my phone call shopped around bought some things and then left. The store has a lot to offer many different things that you don’t see just anywhere, but the person behind the counter on this particular day needs to check his attitude. I will still come back and shop here as it is a great store and sometimes everybody has a bad day.
Such a fun store! Old time candy bars, risqué and “regular” greeting cards, gifts, novelties and more. Plan to spend time; there’s so much to see. And look up :
