I am not vegetarian and enjoyed this place. The food was diverse and chouce plentiful. It was easy to discover what you wanted easy to pay, great to ensure there is no wasye as you oay for the weight of your food. The decision around your beverage was easy as it was done after you choose your meal so you can easily pair the wine with the meal choice. The staff were great, pleasant, and attentive to the customers. I saw one helping an older couple with their plates from their seats. It was above and beyond and just showed the fabulous service they give. The area was clean the tables basic but there were plenty of seats to choose where to sit. I enjoyed this. The food was great, I didn't really have a full choice for the sweets (desserts) but apart from that I couldn't fault it. It was good.
Apparently wage-weight buffets are common in Switzerland, but it was new for us! You can either use and eat a dish, buy a reusable container (for a discount on food next time) or take a recyclable, cardboard tray to remove. Everything is clearly marked when it is vegan and there were many options (replaced with serving dishes or refilled regularly). From cold couscous salads to deep-fried flower wings to hot pastage dressing to sweet potato wedges there was a great variety. While we were busy, we didn't really have to wait and were out and eating within 10 minutes. However, it is quite expensive. Compared to a formal restaurant in Zurich, it is definitely a good value, but we both have approx. 35chf paid.
