I will start by saying I'm from the West Coast. I haven't found any mexican food since moving here up to par with what I can get back home. I decided to try Tia Queta for dinner on a Friday night. It was fairly busy, but the service was still good. The staff was very nice and professional. I ordered the guacamole and the tacos requetas (two beef and one chicken) that came with refried beans and rice. The guacamole was good, $10 good, maybe not. The chicken tasted like it was canned, I'm not sure if it was or not. The beef was decent, definitely better than the chicken. Both the chicken and beef lacked flavor. The refried beans had a bit more flavor, but I prefer frijoles. Would I return, probably not.

Our family loves eating here. Great food, wonderful staff, and nice atmosphere weather in the upper deck or the main dining area.
Amazing food, and most beautiful atmosphere in Bethesda. Open air terrace with beautiful plants. Love the guac and Mole!
