"We were a larger party (12). Everyone agreed the food was average at best. Burgers were very good, prosciutto arugula pizza was all arugula, very, very, very little prosciutto. Cod was tastless. On a good note, the waitstaff was amazing. Went out of their way to take great care of us. If the rating were for the food it would be higher. Went on a Friday night with 6 adults, 2 children and 1 baby after making reservations for 7. We were seated right away then waited 10 minutes to take our drink order. Waited another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Mind you it was not busy. About 20 minutes later our order was taken so it as about 50 minutes so far. At least 30 minutes went by before we were served our salads. The waiter made no attempt to bring bread or rolls and only after he was asked by my daughter did he do so. One each. He never tried to get the kids meals out early (Mac and cheese/fries). Know your customers guy! Finally, some 90-100 minutes after we were seated our food arrived. It was tasty enough (I got beef tips Marsala) however Marsala sauce is typically a bit thicker. My wife got butternut squash ravioli which needed another two minutes or so cooking. The waiter never apologized for the length of service which was disappointing or didn’t offer to take maybe the kids meals off the bill. Don’t know if we will be back. Before coming here tonight I did not know this restaurant was owned by the same people that own Tunxis Grill in Windsor. Tunxis Grill is my favorite restaurant in the area so I was stoked to know this would be an experience on par with my expectations. I ordered a negroni as my beverage and it was superb. For my main course I had the rigatoni bolognese and it was everything I had hoped for. The crispy bread that came as its side was a perfect companion to the rich bolognese sauce. The table shared a side of truffle fries and they were perfectly cooked. Will definitely be coming back to the Three Figs. We ordered the calamari which was ok, but portion size was small for the price. I ordered the butternut ravioli for my entree, which was very good. I also enjoyed the fig balsamic on my salad. My mom had the french onion soup and the salmon salad. Both the soup salad were excellent. The portion of salmon given was very good and the lemon vinaigrette was excellent. Service was good. It was cold and we had to wear jackets inside. We will be back to try some other options from the menu. If you like thin crust pizza then this is the perfect place for you. The mushroom topped pizza is delicious. My wife loves Oyster Bay Sauvignon wine but they offer Scarboro which she tried and now I've got a new wine to stock up on. I had a margarita which sadly was not as good as the wine. We finished our dinner with a great dessert molten chocolate cake which our very attentive server John suggested. He even added dollops of delicious whipped cream. The restaurant bar is very popular and very noisy but the restaurant offers private alcoves for private dining which we enjoyed
