This restaurant easily serves the best food in Guildford’s city centre. It is let down only by the slightly too relaxed approach to service which is a feeling I am genuinely left with after every visit. The waiting staff are absolutely friendly but are slightly too relaxed and inattentive to tables. The food however could easily achieve a Michelin star. With more proactive service, the restaurant would be an easy five out of five. I would recommend for the food but would caveat the experience with a warning: you will find yourself chasing to order, have drinks topped up and for the bill no matter when you visit.
