The Whitehouse - Table reservation

This has now reopened under the name, The Nest. The first night was the August; under new management. I was with a group of that were staying in the area and we were looked after so well with great food save room for the Baileys Cheesecake!! Very homely and we have become their first regulars for the week, with a round trip, it’s worth it.

I think this place has closed, sadly. I was there four years ago and had a wonderful meal but rang twice last week and left messages for a reservation and nobody came back to me. Shame. It was great.

New owner Morven is a powerhouse; she gave up her day off to feed a full restaurant, single handed! Food was very good too. Highly recommended.
