We decided to go here for lunch as we had a hankering for fish and chips to find there's a buy one get one free on their beer battered fish and chips. What a bargain. The wait wasn't too long either. Bonus, as we were famished! It was great to see chunky chips and not fries on the plate, with a good sized piece of fish, a nice sized portion of garden peas and a small but adequate pot of delicious tartare sauce. Also a good sized wedge of grilled lemon. The food was just perfect. I couldn't eat all of mine, as the portion size was quite big. We'll definitely go back soon.
the wharf inn is looking to deny the eating side of its business from 2017. the potential for breakfast, eating and frying as well as evening meal and bar snacks offers excellent potential. any person who has an interest in examining this matter should contact mark 01905 620337
Had our wedding reception here. Carvery was first class. Buffet in the evening was brilliant. Couldn't fault anything. Dani, Alex, Ty and the team were fantastic
