last minute decision, but what a decision. yes, it is very quiet (in that we were only humans in) but we were with the family, so there was no problem. family-run, very cozy and friendly. home cooked eating and it was awesome. home cooked chicken, leek chicken cake was beautiful (sorry, don't put cute down to take photo) and desert was delicious. I could have eaten again and I'll come back before I go home. please don't let them do the thing that it's quiet, put them out, they won't be repentance. photos are;. [edit] our last night on holiday and we went back; eating and gastfreundschaft were still 5 stars, the first night was not just a fuke. all food (starter, head and gloomy) is deteriorated by the owner ruth/cooked/baked and portions are large, I have a powerful appetit and I had to push my desert down. more photos added.

Amazing kind landlady took me in as was suffering shock after witnessing a traffic accident on the Dual carriageway. Max was well catered for on, rather than in his bed!! In front of the roaring fire; shoes and socks dry enough to put on by the time I left. Wonderful home cooked food , her own ham egg and chips, real comfort food. I must never go past at lunchtime otherwise I don't know what will happen to my waistline. A real country pub

large beer that is brewed in front of location is tornado a beauty of a pints. very friendly owners and locals.
