We are staying locally for a few days and had had The Swan recommended to us, so despite it being a bit wet and rainy, we booked a table for lunch today (Sunday) and did a lovely circular walk from Pershore to build up an appetite ... and walk off some of the food afterwards. The pub is warm and welcoming, as were all the staff, and despite us wearing wellies and being a little soggy, they welcomed us into the restaurant where we derobed and sat down to enjoy an excellent lunch. All tables were full, unsurprisingly as the food and service were excellent, and the garden with its little cubicles looked great, albeit they were empty today. I opted for large fish and chips, which was cooked to perfection and not greasy, and the other half had the mixed grill which was also very tasty. Dessert was a rich chocolate mousse which was delicious and generous... the shortbread biscuit was one of the best we have had in a long time. Thank you for a lovely meal and if we are back in the area we will definately be back to try some more. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
