Got taken here by my nephew Frazer (the local village jester . We enjoyed it that much that I returned for a lunchtime treat for the wife (Well....you've gotta stay in the good books eh !! . Yet again we experienced some fantastic food and a good selection of ales, with superb front of house service and a nice warm relaxed friendly atmosphere. Lovely place Highly recommended
Excellent food every time we've been, I can highly recommend the homemade pies especially the steak ale, and the mash is made with butter which is delicious and the veg served with butter as well, with generous portions and all perfectly cooked. If you are looking for excellent cooked food, this is definitely the place to go
Had Sunday lunch here. The place was busy but we got shown to our table quickly. The waitresses were all very attentive. They menu is traditional roasts. As well as a great Al a carte menu. Great fresh veg and homemade Yorkshire puds . I am looking forward to our next visit already .
Just been in for Boxing Day lunch with the parents. Had a lovely meal. Beautiful girl served us with a huge smile the whole time. Great pub
